We publish the texts of the lectures of the international conference World Battlefield Museums Forum (WBMF), held at the Museum of the Second World War in Gdansk on 12-13 October 2022.

Museum experts and professionals from around the world addressed the role and mission of museums, particularly battlefield museums, in the modern world. In 2022, the programme of the forum was enriched with experiences of museums located in the most remote corners of the world – for example, in Peru, Australia or Finland.
